Rep. Gary Clary took part in teaching at the Boy Scouts of America’s Merit Badge University Saturday on Sept. 30, held at Clemson University. Merit Badge University is an opportunity for Boy Scouts or Venturers of any rank to work on merit badges, and Rep. Clary contributed to the Citizenship in the Nation merit badge program, held in Lehotsky Hall.
“As a state representative and an Eagle Scout, it was my pleasure to help teach the citizenship merit badge and give back to the Boy Scouts of America,” Rep. Clary said. “Many thanks to the student chapter of Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity for hosting this event on Clemson’s campus.”
It is the sixth year Merit Badge University has been hosted at Clemson University.
